Operating since the late 1970s, the farmers' market has its roots deep in the City of Martinsville and Henry County.  The Uptown Farmers' Market is truly one of Martinsville's most time-honored traditions!  For approximately 25 years, folks have come to the Market to buy, sell, and exchange goods.  With an impressive array of special events, the Market is becoming one of Martinsville's hottest spots.  The Uptown Martinsville Farmers' Market is operated under the direction of the Martinsville Uptown Revitalization Association, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and revitalization of Uptown Martinsville.
