Holidays at the Market will be hosted at the Uptown Martinsville Farmers’ Market on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4PM to 8PM. Visit the Uptown Martinsville Farmers’ Market to gather your Holiday goodies from your favorite market vendors! Customers can expect to find crafts, coffee, honey, jams & jellies, hand crafted wooden items, soaps, elderberry syrup, masks, sweet treats, breads, a limited amount of fresh produce, and more!

2020 is the first year the Holiday Market will be located outside at the farmers’ market; this is due to COVID-19 precautions. While the event will take place outside, vendors and customers will remain warm throughout the Holiday market by utilizing outdoor patio heaters. The outdoor patio heaters and supplies that were necessary to host Holidays at the Market outdoors were purchased utilizing funds from a Harvest Foundation’s Pick Up the Pace grant. The Harvest Foundation has been very supportive of the Uptown Martinsville Farmers’ Market throughout COVID-19.

The Uptown Martinsville Farmers’ Market is sponsored by: Martin Plaza Furniture Outlet, URW Community Federal Credit Union, New College Institute, SOVAH Health of Martinsville, Denture Express of Martinsville, and VisitMartinsville. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Program Match is supported by the Martinsville-Henry County Coalition for Health and Wellness and Virginia Fresh Match.

We encourage customers to “like” and “follow” the Uptown Martinsville Farmers’ Market on social media to be informed of updates regarding the event. Facebook: Uptown Martinsville Farmers’ Market/ @martinsvillefarmersmarket. Instagram: Martinsville Farmers Market/@martinsvillefarmersmarket.

Customers will be asked to wear a face covering while at the Holiday market, maintain social distancing, and wash/sanitize their hands often.

The Uptown Martinsville Farmers’ Market looks forward to the upcoming Holiday fun!
